Will Durham

As the first ever Director of the William Ellis Trust, Will leads the Trust into an exciting new chapter in its long history. Alongside trustees, school staff and others, he has developed a vision for the future work of the Trust.

The Trust’s mission is to champion positive masculinity and the many ways of being a boy; to build a sense of belonging, empowerment and civic pride amongst the young people at the school; and to develop entrepreneurial skillsets and social capital to help students take the next steps in their journeys and serve them well moving forward.

His role has a broad remit leading on strategy, fundraising and setting the Trust up as a public entity, bringing together his previous experiences in charity leadership, school governance and a passion for education and creating the conditions that allow all to succeed.
